Hey :)
My name is Kalina and I am a 25 year old girl from Frankfurt, Germany.

Last summer (2024) I finished my apprenticeship as a Media Designer in Frankfurt.
Now I really want to take the time to travel quite a bit and do multiple workaways abroad in order to get out of my comfort zone, visit new places and meet new wonderful people!

I already have a little experience with living abroad since I used to study Creative Business and Media Management as an international course in the Netherlands.

I would describe myself as open-minded and communicative! I love connecting with new people and exchanging experiences with them. I believe that I can be fun to be around and I am open to challenge myself with new tasks and situations.

I believe that there is no better way to experience new places than through the people that live there! :)

More details about my language interests
I'm totally open to learning new languages and can also teach you a little bit of German or Bulgarian! However, what i would like the most for the next year is staying in an English-speaking country in order to speak English on a daily basis, so that I get more fluent. Furthermore, I can teach you a little Bulgarian, since my mother is from Bulgaria, however my own Bulgarian isn't that good because I grew up in Germany. :)

Since I am just finished my apprenticeship as a media designer in Germany I am able to create audiovisual content with camera-, sound- and light-equipment. Additionally I have experiences in the field of postproduction, but also preproduction (writing concepts, organizing shoots etc.).
I also have experiences as a production assistant/ set runner.

Furthermore, I would love to learn more about gardening, farm life or DIY-projects since I don't have a lot of experience in those fields.
I can also totally see myself helping out in a family with homework, the household and cooking etc. since i grew up in a big family and I am an older sister to two younger brothers.

And my secret skill is riding a unicycle. :)
