Hi there! I’m Julie, a 23-year-old recent graduate from finance in Paris, excited to embark on a new chapter of life in New Zealand !
I’m an adventurous and open-minded individual who loves staying active, whether it's through playing volleyball, hiking, or trying out new sports like surfing. Nature is a huge part of who I am, and I look forward to exploring the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand while contributing to your projects. I also love to cook for my loved ones, especially sweets, and try new foods like the Rewena bread or the Kiwi burger.
After finishing my studies, I realized that the path I was on wasn’t the right fit for me. This journey to New Zealand is an exciting opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, discover new interests, and learn more about myself along the way. I’m excited to explore different possibilities and open myself up to new experiences that will help me figure out what’s next for me in life.
I believe that the best way to learn and grow is through hands-on experience and connecting with people. Whether it’s lending a hand on a farm, in a café, or helping with various projects, I’m motivated to contribute my energy, creativity, and positive attitude to make the most out of this journey. I’m a very enduring and resistant person, comfortable with physical, hands-on tasks. I’m ready and able to take on difficult outdoor work like gardening, landscaping, and general maintenance.
I love cooking and trying new recipes, and especially if it is to share with my closed ones after.
I worked as a waitress for a summer, which honed my ability to remember orders, work efficiently under pressure, and deliver excellent customer service. I’m quick, agile, and work well in busy environments.
I have experience with kids as I have coached the youngest members of my athletics club a few years ago.
I also enjoy doing DIY projects, such as painting, a bit of sewing, and refurbishing old furniture.
