Our names are Isabel and judith and we are 20 years old. Currently we are traveling around the world because it’s so important for us to get to know other cultures, meet new mentalities and listen to beautiful life stories. We think traveling makes you richer and grows you in so many ways. And we don‘t ever want to stop learning and growing. We even think that the personal growth never stops - not even when We are wrinkled old ladies. There is always something to learn! My (Judith’s) travel started in South Africa where I was able to work as a volunteer in a foster care home for orphans and children in need for 3 months. This experience shaped me so much and there I also found my love for the work with children. Children are our future. They’re the ones we need to invest more time in. To give them more love, more hope and more courage. I could tell you so many stories about that time but I think I should go on because otherwise you would have to read a novel. :D after that I flew to Hongkong where I met my best friend Isabel. From then on we traveled further together. For now, we are in Thailand and enjoy the beauty of this country and it’s heartwarming friendly people. But after „just“ traveling for 1 month I realized that I miss doing something productive soo much and after talking to Isabel about that we decided to do something! Another workawayer told us about this website and we thought oh wow that could be the perfect opportunity! So, that is how we came here. Our Vision in life is to spread love, peace and hope. If that comes in the way that we are collecting plastic to save the ocean a Little Bit more everyday, or if I‘m teaching people how to speak English, or if We are working with wonderful children. We think everything that works towards peace and love is something that our world is so much in need of. I am a strong believing Christian and for me, God is Love. We think, if you spread love, you simultaneously spread Gods embassy. To love each other - to love our neighbors like we love ourselves. It’s so important to treat everything and everyone with love and respect. Our environment, our animals and our fellow men. Because this is our heritage and we are responsible for it. We especially have it on our heart to tell everyone We meet how loved they are and how worthy they are. Because so many people don’t know it and are looking for love in so many things where they won’t be able to find it - and that destroys. We want to tell them that they don’t have to spend their time looking for love, because they are already loved and they are never alone and that there is someone bigger that cares for them every second of their life. Someone who thinks in the bigger picture and in higher ways. But We think this message, the message of love, can be spread through so many actions. That’s why We are totally open up to every kind of work. We just want to learn, to grow and to spread love. In order to quickly tell you something about my personality: I’m very adventurous, I’m easy ging and can also handle difficult situations, I’m good in a leadership but also in a Follower Position. And to tell you something about my best friend Isabel: she is very helpful and loving. She is absolutely creative and soo good at art and drawing. We both want to work and to help and are so happy that we found workaway!

I did volunteer work in South Africa. I was teaching assistance in a school, also helped with homework in the foster care home, worked in the school office and also in the foster home office, organized many things, helped with technical problems, helped in a teen-mom group where we gave these girls new hope and perspective for their future, did many creative things with the kids in the foster care home like drawing and art-craft and simply spend so much wonderful and precious time with the kids.
In Germany I volunteered as a home work helper/teacher for regugees.
I babysitted a lot in my neighborhood and I‘m one of 7 kids, thats why I was able to learn how to handle interpersonal conflicts and how to care for children.
Before I went on my world travel I started to be a Visitor for people in a retirement home who doesn’t get many visits.
About all these things I could tell you so many things that I love about doing it, but I think its good if you can just see objectively what I‘ve done.
I never ever want to stop learning and growing and in order to do that I’m very open up to new things. I like being in a leadership but also in a follower position. I just love helping and am a very reliable person.
The same counts for my best friend Isabel! She is such a heartwarming soul and helps wherever she can. She is full of love for everyone and everything and She learns new things very fast. When we worked in Melaka in a little art school for children she got her first volunteer experience and she loved it! She is very good with kids and has such a great passion for art and loves it in every kind. She is a very responsible person and you can rely on her with every task.
I speak German and English fluently and also French, but I would definitely need more practice with that. Isabel can speak German fluently and also English and she can understand Russian and speak it a little bit

If you need reference letters from for example Judith's time in South Africa you are very welcome to ask for that.
Judith is a little bit allergic to cats but that has never stopped her from cuddling them :D so this allergy is very weak. Isabel doesn‘t have allergies.
