Description
Hi! 👋
I'm Juan, Spanish, 28 y.o., and I'm in a life-changing period.
I love cheap plans such as trekking, reading, listening to music, and writing.
Why? One may wonder. It's just because I like spending every cent I earn on traveling.
In 2018, I spent two weeks in Edinburgh volunteering as a pro-EU and anti-Brexit campaigner. Unfortunately, we didn't have the expected political impact.
In early 2023, I had my first WorkAway experience as a volunteer at a hostel in Tirana, Albania, where I learned the basics of reception and hostel management. During my time at this hostel, I also held a full-time job in the marketing department of an Albanian company.
In June 2023, I decided to switch gears and relocate to rural Ireland. I had the opportunity to manage a beautiful campsite, thanks to WorkAway, which proved to be an incredibly enriching experience.
Now, I'm actively seeking a work or volunteering opportunity in the travel industry that will allow me to explore new countries starting in November 2023.Interests

EN:
I graduated with honors with my BA Degree in Tourism and then ended up with a Master's in E-Commerce. Both at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After some years of working in digital marketing and having failed start-up my own business, I have no idea what I want to do in my life.
Nonetheless, I can't stand still while life goes by. These days, I'm improving my Adobe pack skills and starting a second BA Degree in Journalism.
Age

He came to Tirana to volunteer at our hostel and ended up staying here in Tirana for a portion of his life. Even if he is not a volunteer anymore, he will come to our place every now and then and help us when he's available.
He's easygoing and tech-savvy. A perfect fit for any Workaway experience.
The staff members are easy-going, hard-working people. Besides working here, they are tour guides, so they will give the best advice on traveling around Albania and the Balkans.
It's not a party hostel, which is great for me.
It's pretty close to the city center.
I would strongly recommend it to… read more
