About Me
Hey! My name is Johannes Wessels, I’m 22 years old and currently living in Munich, Germany. I’m a sculptor in training, working towards my master craftsman qualification. I’ve been working with materials like stone, clay, and wood for many years and I’m always curious to learn new things and exchange ideas with other creative people.
I’m not traveling for luxury or comfort, but to get to know real life, culture, and people on a deeper level. I’m especially interested in places where artistic or hands-on work is done. I love developing my craftsmanship, but I’m also open to anything that brings variety – and I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty with different kinds of tasks.
As a person, I’d say I’m open-minded, curious, and independent – I’ve been living on my own for five years now. I enjoy working hard, but I also appreciate calm moments: reading a book or spending time with my sketchbook is just as much a part of me as focused work in the workshop. My English isn’t perfect yet, but I see this as a great opportunity to improve.
I’m looking forward to inspiring encounters, shared projects, and genuine cultural exchange.
