Hello !
My name is Johanne, I am 26 and I live in the suburbs of Paris, France.
I studied 5 years at university to become a teacher. I did a gap year during my studies. I was au pair for 3 months in London, I visited Thailand Loas and Malaysia for 2 months, I was barista in Malta for 3 months then I visited some European countries. After that, I taught for 4 years in primary school. In February 2023, I quite my job.
In fact, trips never stopped calling me. So I decided to quit everything to travel.
I love travelling: the way you feel free, the encounters, the new experiences... every day is a surprise. I really want to be a volunteer because it s the best way to learn news things and meet new people.
The concept of Workaway immediately appealed to me because it allows, I think, an enriching intercultural exchange and a sharing of knowledge. It also allows me to make myself useful while discovering new activities.
I am passionate about climbing. I climb indoor and outdoor. I love being in the middle of nature, so small facing the cliff so big. It really helps me. Climbing allows me to go beyond my limits and control my actions and my mind in a beautiful places. I love mountains in general : hiking, skiing, climbing...
I have been a Scout for 9 years. Scouting made me discover life in community, solidarity, life in nature ... I met great people and I learned a lot: games, summer camps, nights under the tent, facilities and constructions made hands ... I also went on a solidarity mission to Cambodia with the scouts to help an association. It was an unforgettable experience. It made me want to travel to other countries, discover other cultures and make myself useful.
I do not have any experience with animals and agriculture, but I like to learn. I am of good will, easy going, smiling and naturally happy. I am not afraid to work hard.Interests

I think I can say that I adapt quickly to different situations and that I learn quickly. I am listening and I am always trying to do my best. I am spontaneous and I like to live simply.
