Hello everyone, we are Johanna from Switzerland and Johan from Colombia, a couple passionate about adventure and discovery. Our story began in 2023 in Colombia, and since that day we aspire to travel the world together.

Johanna, an experimented traveler, began exploring the globe at the age of 19. After three sabbatical trips, she is now a digital nomad working as a recruiter. Her love of travel is matched by a passion for volunteering, having already gained valuable experience with Workaway, which she plans to continue.

Johan, meanwhile, is preparing to leave his job in Colombia to have his first travel experience outside his native country. Excited about this adventure, he is ready to explore the world.

We love anything outdoors. Both Switzerland and Colombia have amazing nature, and this is someting we really love and need to recharge and disconnect. We are eager to learn new skills and share ours with others. We'd love to discover new sports and hobbies. Both of us dance Bachata and we would love to share this passion with people who would like to move their hips and learn a few steps. :-)

Learning about new cultures and meeting people from all over the world is what makes every trip valuable to us.

Johanna :

From working at my grandparents' farm since childhood to Workaway experiences in Colombia and Mexico, I've honed my skills in farming, gardening, and animal care.

In the kitchen, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian dishes and satisfying my sweet tooth with baking. Also, I'm eager to expand my repertoire with vegan cooking.

With a background in horseback riding and hands-on experience with various animals, I'm comfortable caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.

When it comes to children, I've volunteered at an orphanage in Vietnam and enjoy spending time with my young relatives, engaging them in fun activities.

In tourism and events, I've had the opportunity to welcome guests on an B&B in Mexico and to serve breakfast buffet. I also have experience in wedding preparations in Switzerland, and volunteered at various events, including behind the bar.

Also, I'm trained to teach yoga both to adults and children.

I'm proficient in IT and social media management, with a keen interest in learning and exploring new fields.

My passions include nature, animals, alternative medicine, and holistic well-being, and I'm eager to continue growing and making a positive impact wherever I go. Developing my creative side would be a must.



Johán :

During my school internships, I specialized in sales and reservations of tourist products, working as a tour guide in historical places in Santa Marta. This experience allowed me to develop exceptional customer service skills and a deep knowledge of the tourism sector.

Additionally, I worked for 3 years in hotels in Santa Marta, where I performed various functions in reception, customer service, reservation management, room assignment, infrastructure maintenance, and basic gardening. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and the importance of attention to detail.

My work experience also includes 4 years in a clinic in Medellin, where I worked in the maintenance area, performing tasks such as painting, plastering, plumbing, basic electricity, and other duties. This experience allowed me to develop technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Furthermore, I have a passion for cooking and am always eager to learn new recipes and culinary techniques. Animal care is another passion of mine, and I am willing to explore new experiences related to them.
