Hola! Soy Joella, una viajera estadounidense de 26 años a quien le encanta el intercambio cultural, aprender nuevas habilidades y ayudar en lo que pueda. Soy una persona de mente abierta, trabajadora y adaptable a quien le gusta conocer gente de todos los ámbitos de la vida. Ya sea trabajando en una granja, ayudando con un proyecto comunitario o ayudando en un hostel, siempre estoy abierta por contribuir y aprender en el camino.

Acabo de vivir en Guatemala por casi 2 años y medio, donde trabajé dando capacitaciones con grupos comunitarios en un pueblo pequeño en diversos temas; como el empoderamiento de las mujeres/derechos humanos, la nutrición, la higiene personal y pequeños huertos de hortalizas. He trabajado como voluntario por más de 10 semanas en cuatro proyectos diferentes: una reserva natural, dos granjas sostenibles y una granja urbana, en Los Estados Unidos, Argentina y Nueva Zelanda.

Hi! I’m Joella, a 26-year-old traveler from the United States who loves cultural exchange, learning new skills, and helping out wherever I can. I’m open-minded, hardworking, and adaptable, and I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. Whether I’m working on a farm, helping with a community project, or assisting in a hostel, I’m always eager to contribute and learn along the way.

I just lived in Guatemala for almost 2 and a half years, where I worked giving trainings in various themes; such as women's empowerment/human rights, nutrition, personal hygiene, and small vegetable gardens. I have volunteered for a collective 10 weeks on four different projects, a nature reserve, two sustainable farms, and an urban farm, in the USA, Argentina and New Zealand.
