Hello, I'm Joel
I'm from Barcelona (Spain) and I'm really looking forward to starting this Workaway adventure.
I'm passionate about nature and animals, life in the countryside, the tranquility of the countryside.
I'm a happy, empathetic and entrepreneurial person.
I have a degree in Philosophy and I'm going to be a high school teacher, but before settling down, I'll start a family and live for a long time in my region. I'm interested in seeing the world, getting to know other cultures, and my main motivation now is to perfect my English.

I have always been very good at crafts. My father is a builder and he taught me the trade, my grandparents had strawberry fields and I know how to take care of them, at home we have a garden, chickens, cats, dogs and I can also manage them.
I often make my own tools, chairs and small pieces of furniture. I am also good at ceramics.
I have worked for a few years as a cook and waiter in a restaurant to pay for my studies.
I have been a councillor in my town for 8 years, leading the youth and sports departments.
I have worked as a drinks carrier.
And my first jobs were as a trainer of different sports, referee and camp monitor.
