heyoo, I'm Jette, I have made really great experiences with workaway a few years ago during my gap year in Central America, and am now thinking about travelling again. I love cultural exchange and am really interested in languages and history of other places. Since I study environmental science and sociology/philosophy, I'll bring that kind of outlook to things and hope to be able to incorporate them in my possible workaway projects. intersectionality and activism is also really important to me, and since I am currently recovering from a basketball injury I cannot do heavy farm work this time and would focus more on DIY stuff, language exchange, domestic work or even office/managerial work:)

More details about your skills
I have experience with cooking, cleaning and houseworking and already stayed at mutliple workaways of that kind which were always really good experiences. I like working with people, but also in nature and autonomously, so I'm kinda flexible in that sense
I have a lot of experience working with kids, babysitting, tutoring and in the form of language exchanfe and I also did social work at a Kindergarten and in a food bank.
Aside from that, I have experience with multimedia projects and political activism, with a focus on intersectionality, climate justice and (queer)feminist studies. I also do research in these areas.
I am very motivated and willing to do my best. I am duteous and a very thankful person. Mostly, I just like to get to know other lifestyles and am grateful for every opportunity:)Age

We stayed at the farm for a short period of time, but we really loved it there. Franklin, Reyna and Ángel are all really nice and inspiring people. I am so thankful for everything I learned about farming, nature, life and the way to treat others. The work was fun and fulfilling, sometimes harder, sometimes calmer and the farm… read more
