I'm a 33-year old plant-based Writer and huge animal lover who has started building friendships with creepy crawlies. I can usually be found swimming, drinking home-made iced coffee, engaged in a friendly debate or with my nose in a notebook.

Having worked in Marketing and Creative teams across multiple platforms, for a range of topics, I am great with communication and have learnt how to observe and adapt to new environments quickly. I've worked with schoolchildren and run performance and reading clubs both in and out of the UK over the last seven years. In my personal time, I've done up two properties from scratch, tackling most of the handiwork myself, so am comfortable getting stuck into painting, DIY, gardening, simple construction and interior design. I've also loved and raised lots of animals, including reptiles, so am used to a house full of demanding pets; relying on myself to manage the house means I find solutions and have discovered the secret of maintaining a clean and beautiful space that is also a happy haven for furry friends.

My main goal lies in learning more about the ethics and practices of modern life across different communities, discovering how to turn ethical choices into a sustainable relationship with the earth. Now having the time to dedicate to travel, I'd love to support local communities and households with my creative and physical skills, improve my sustainability knowledge so that I can incorporate this into daily routines, and meet like-minded, positive people that will enrich my journey.

I love playing games that get the mind ticking, such as card games, Chess and lateral thinking puzzles. I feel happy being around others and getting involved as a group, although I'm not hugely competitive. I'm always up for a long walk, exploring the ocean and being surrounded by animals. Also love getting involved in local dances and hearing music from different communities.
