Description
We are passionate conservationists, and love all nature. We are fascinated by different cultural traditions and the history of a place. In England Jem worked with communities that want to connect to nature, we protect the environment and the wildlife, and reap the benefits of a healthy planet. Matt was training students in working in the countryside and has many practical skills.

We love to work outside, gardening, planting trees, fixing things. We are happy to do any work that makes a positive impact to the community and to the environment. We are happy to cook and clean and help with tourists. In England we both work in nature conservation, and have experience working with Children.

We love hiking and exploring new places. We like to be anywhere you can observe nature, from butterflies to birds to reptiles! We love to be in the ocean, or swimming in rivers and lakes. We both scuba dive and snorkel. We like to relax by reading and listening to music.

We stayed with Luis for almost a week. The work was really interesting, we loved building with different techniques. The gardening element was tough but rewarding, and done early in the morning to avoid the heat. Luis house is very beautiful but very simple, you are not coming here for luxury. We absolutely loved this work away. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt totally immersed in the community and the project. The work is hard but incredibly rewarding. We spent a week with Moises, and it was a great experience. It was definitely more of an experience than work. We loved chatting to Moises about his experiences and spend evenings cooking, making fires and listening to music. We split the cost of some groceries which was very good value, and we learnt a lot about Nica food.

Great workers .. lovely people. Jem and Matt worked independently on projects which we had set out at the onset of their stay. They set their own schedule and worked well together. It was a pleasure to have them stay . Good luck guys.

We really enjoyed staying at this workaway, we stayed for almost 2 weeks. Esther and Andy were lovely and always helpful and kind. We were trusted to manage our own work schedule and we enjoyed working in the beautiful gardens. The house is so nice and we had a very relaxing stay.
