Hi,

I'm Joe and I'll be travelling around New Zealand from March 2023 for at least a year, travelling and visiting as many parts of the country as I can along with meeting people along the way.

I'm taking a break from working in business and social housing and want to spend my time helping others with their projects and work outside with new people in different situations.

I've previously worked on a number of smallholdings and community farms and have experience with general maintenance and DIY, gardening, animal husbandry, processing of firewood along and get enjoyment from cooking.

I enjoy spending time outside, and find happiness in the mountains hiking or running and hopefully attempting to ski if the opportunity arises, Sea kayaking and surfing along the coast and spending time socialising.

I have worked on farms and smallholdings and done various DIY tasks such as fencing, painting, digging drainage ditches and animal husbandry. I've also done land clearance work on areas of shrubland and worked with permaculture principles (though I am very much a novice.)

I've worked with lots of different people both as a youth worker and then as a business professional. By profession I am a business analyst and should you need any skills I've gathered through this line of work I'd be happy to offer them.

I've also worked as a cook and enjoy cooking for both myself and larger groups.
