  • Description

Get ready for some information on a crazy, quirky, fun and open-minded person with a lot of interests! ;D

I want to get out of my comfort zone! I'm constantly challenging myself, for example I went ice dipping in Scotland and I loved it! Or I went to do my first workaway in France 2019 with only half a year of practicing French. I love challenging myself because I learn sooo much then! 😍🤯

I've been speaking English since middle school and I enjoy learning even more about the language! :) Teach me the quirkiest words and phrases!! 💬

I'm also an open-minded person. I like to listen to the stories people have to tell. 📖 In my freetime I usually record audiobooks🎧 wild dip🌊 go to the gym💪 meet up with friends 👯 enjoy good concerts of all kinds of bands (lately more jazzy or electronic music) 🎶 or listen and sing along to good music at open mic nights! 🎤

I recently discovered hiking and bouldering for myself. 🥾🧗 I enjoy a good walk along the hillsides every week.

I paint and am generally interested in interior design and arts. 🎨 My major subjects in school were Arts and English. So if there's a room you'd like to redecorate, I can help with my knowledge of colours and forms. 🦩⛲🌌

In addition to that I really like cooking and most of the times my dishes hit the spot! 😜🍲 (I also think about writing a cook book, so if there is a must share-recipe of yours, then I'm happy to share some of mine as well!)

There is still a lot of countries I have yet to discover! I haven't been to other continents than Europe and almost Asia (only St. Petersburg in Russia once). Since staying in Scotland for almost four months now, it's time for a change! 💪

My next target after leaving Ireland is France!!! 🎯🇫🇷

In my B.A. I studied the German language and can teach people how to use German properly. I could also translate English into German and vice versa.
I know how too cook for big groups, I've learned this at home for my family and in my gap year, where I had to cook for 15 people at once and I really like it.

Talking about family: I'm a proud big sister of two siblings and I like taking care of little ones. I find it so interesting how they see and explore the world on their own and like to help them grow on their own turns.

In my M.A. I also learned how to train my voice for singing or speaking, especially how to speak in front of a group (like presentations) or a microphone (if you want to record something in a good way).
I could give you advices how to use your arguments or how you appear to me in a speech/presentation.
The village where I used to live is quite small. We had a big garden and my father often worked with wood. We rennovated the whole house together as a family, so I know how to use (power) tools, paint, chop wood, and I'm not afraid of (hard) work.
Together with my mother I also planted and harvested fruits in our garden. Afterwards my grandfather would make delicious jelly or juice or sirup out of them! :) But I'm still keen on learning more about foraging! :))
Back then we also bred hares over a few years. We had to feed some of them, when their mothers died. I love taking care of animals and I'm looking for some experience in this in my next workaways. :)

While I studied, I worked in many different bars, Hotels, restaurants, cafés and clubs. So I know a lot about different customer groups, social settings and preparation of a lot of of drinks, serving food and selling alcohol as well as handling cash and being keyholder. 🔑

So all in all, I can do lots of things, and if I don't know how it works, I'm really interested in learning it!

  • What else ...

I have the energy to motivate people to do what they really want and can help them to take off their blinkers.
I'm also good in mediation. I used to do this in my family because I've got two little sisters and there has always been little conflicts. It's important to talk about what moves us, I think ;)
