  • Description

    Hi everyone!

I’m a curious, positive and hands-on traveler who loves meeting open-minded people and getting involved in local life. Over the past three years I’ve spent a lot of time exploring new places, and I’ve learned that my favorite experiences always come from simple everyday moments: cooking together, learning how people live, and sharing stories.

Spain already feels close to my heart. I was fortunate enough to do my Erasmus semester in Granada until recently (September–February), where I fell in love with the culture, food and daily rhythm — and where I also improved my Spanish a lot. Back home I also did a Spanish–German Intercambio, and it even turned into a close friendship — which is exactly why I’m so excited about staying with hosts who enjoy that kind of cultural exchange. Ever since Granada, I honestly can’t get enough: I want to keep learning, keep speaking, and dive even deeper into everyday life in Spain.

In 2024 I completed a Workaway near Tortosa, and it was an amazing experience. I helped with permaculture tasks, DIY/restoration projects, and daily finca life, including caring for animals and helping with kids. I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty, I learn fast, and I’m happy to support wherever I’m needed — from gardening and building projects to cooking, organizing, or helping you practice English.

If you think I could be a good fit for your home or project, I’d love to hear about your place and what a normal week looks like with you.

If there is one thing I took from my gap year in Australia is that all that counts is a "can do" attitude and and a strong mind to stick to it.
With that being said: I am more than happy to lend a helping hand, where it is needed most. And doing so with heart!
    Past experience involve:
    - waiting tables at restaurants
    - doing all kinds of "assistance" work
    - sales and marketing
Though my resume hasn't yet let me to it: I enjoy teaching things to other people, no matter the age difference. I have a drivers licence and experience in driving small and large vehicles.
I was pretty good at school and university taught me how to self organise and quickly pick up on new things

  • What else ...

During the pandemic I started getting into calisthenics and I have been in love with it ever since.
What fascinates me the most is being able to control your entire body.
Before that I played tennis since I was a little boy and tried many sports in between: from athletics for many years to football and swimming. Recently, I have gotten into BJJ a type of martial art.
Apart from that I very much enjoy regularly seeing my friends, playing volleyball, cooking and a good party every once in a while! Since the last semester I have been volunteering in the student council at my university, because I beliefe that volunteering is an important part of every day life.
