Description
Hello, my name is Jana, I’m 19 years old and I come from Germany, near Cologne.
I’ve always loved traveling and my journey really began when I was 16 and I spent five months in Australia as an exchange student. Since then, I wanted to travel even more. During high school, I also went on smaller adventures with friends. One of my favorites was cycling all the way from Germany to France!
After finishing high school in 2025, it was time for a gap year. Since august, I’ve been working as an entertainer in a hotel in Canary Islands. All these different travels have taught me so much and helped me grow personally.
Now I’m looking for my next big adventure in Canada! I’m excited about cultural exchange, nature, hiking, climbing. I'm also interested winter sports, even if I’ve never tried them before. I love action just as much as relaxing downtime. I’m interested in sports, health, creativity, sewing, and I’m also a bit of a nerd.
I'm really looking forward to discovering Canada and everything it has to offer.

Regarding my abilities, I have always been good student and graduated from high school with a final grade of 1.4. My strengths include mathematics, biology, arts, and sports, and I also have experience working as a math tutor.
I am a pet friendly person and grew up with many animals, including bunnys, a horse, hamsters, fish, guinea pigs, and currently cats and chickens. I’m comfortable caring for animals but understand the responsibility that comes with it.
In addition, I worked part-time in a café for 1.5 years as an all-rounder, during highschool. I have also worked at various events and festivals, such as the Parookaville, so I know how to handle hectic situations.
Since August, I’ve been working as an entertainer in a hotel, where I’ve developed strong communication skills and learned how to lead fun and engaging activities. If you’re interested in yoga or Pilates classes, I’d be happy to help ;)
I currently live independently in an apartment, so I’m used to household responsibilities and can confidently help with daily chores, cleaning, and general organization.
