We're enthusiastic and down to earth Aussie's eager to contribute our skills and energy to meaningful projects through Workaway. We love immersing ourselves in new cultures, meeting people from all walks of life, and lending a hand wherever needed. Whether it’s helping with gardening, animal care, hospitality, or general maintenance. My wife Mikayla is a dancer and artist by trade who loves living off the land, cooking from scratch, growing food, composting and learning about farm maintenance and permaculture. I love being outdoors, working on projects, socialising and keeping myself busy. We've lived in Canada for over a year and are looking forward to grounding ourselves in Vancouver Island. We are both eco-conscious and love time spent in nature, adventuring, being physically active and learning new skills. We are known in our previous employments to be hard workers and take pride in being reliable, open-minded, and easygoing, making us a great addition to any team or family.

We are both open-minded, reliable, and easy to work with. We are handy with repairs, painting, and basic upkeep. Mikayla worked as a cleaner for a few years and enjoys cooking from scratch to nourish our bodies and reduce harmful additives and has experience teaching art and dance to children. I have worked on renovation projects for friends and family and also have experience in website building and technology.
We both have experience with growing plants, landscaping, composting, baby sitting and pet/farm animal care.

We both love playing card and board games. From easy to learn card games to hour long escapades of campaigning. We both love hiking and swimming. We play disc golf for a bit of fun and just love being outdoors in general!
