Description
I am a 28 year old Massage Therapist from Nelson BC Canada. I have been in school and working for the past many years; and not travelled since my first few years out of High School. I am craving to adventure away from home and into myself; I want to learn about new ways of being in the world and reflect on how I want my life to look. I am hoping to find a workaway experience near the ocean, in community and in nature! I am happy to provide massage, yoga/rehabilitative excercise's on a part time basis (I'd really like to be working outside or doing something else for some of the time).
As a Registered Massage Therapist, I have extensive training in rehabilitative massage with an in depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology. I however am much more interested in the way our physical health can support our mental, emotional and spiritual health. I am recently trained in Craniosacral therapy and currently mentoring under a postural rebalancing practitioner to support my clients to find more stability and connection to their bodies through movement. I love all things health and healing. I am a highly sensitive individual with a deep connection to nature and the spiritual undercurrents of life. I am committed to personal growth and eternally fascinated by the human experience. I love deep conversations about life and what it means to be human and live well in this world; I am an incredibly curious individual and stoked to learn new things and ways of being!
In the past I have been a Wildland Firefighter, Landscaper and Cashier at a health food store. I have lots of varied experience, I love working with people and working hard outside!

I would love to learn more Spanish (& French, but Spanish more)! My father is half Mexican, half French Canadian, he is fluent in both languages and I have been around them my whole life, yet I am far from fluent. I understand both quite well and think I would pick up on learning them quickly if I were immersed. English is my first language and I would love to teach it!

Yes, I dont tolerate Gluten and Dairy. I like to eat lots of vegetables and meat as it's what feels best in my body. I would love to be able to eat primarily Organic as well if possible (not a negotiable though).
