Nerd + outdoor adventurer + hippie = Me!
I recently finished a master’s degree at NTNU (Trondheim, Norway). Then I went to Taiwan for an internship. I'm studying solar photovoltaics with the goal to advance clean energy, fight climate change, and bring electricity to developing parts of the world.
Now I'm looking for a full-time engineering job, but in the meantime, I plan to return to Norway to retrieve some luggage I left behind, and visit friends. So I'd like to find a place in Norway to volunteer and hang out for a few weeks in January and February 2024.
I'm curious about nearly everything, although I can come off as quiet and shy. I love any activity that involves spending time in nature (skiing, climbing, backpacking, biking). I've been fortunate to travel and live in quite a few interesting places around the world so far. Now I'm starting to think about settling down somewhere and taking time to find a community.

Jacob stayed with us for almost three months. He was a great help in many projects, very hard working, self directed and capable. He did lots of work on a peony plantings project and we will think of him often when we enjoy the flowers next summer. He was great with our animals. He also is a good cook and happily contributed to our meals.

Jacob stayed with us for 2 weeks. During this time we had very hard snow falls and he was so helpful with shoveling away almost all day long. Our two dogs also loved him straight away and enjoyed their long walks. Everyone is lucky, if Jacob stays with them.
