  • Description

I am currently on a sabbatical, taking time off work to reflect on my career path, create space for other passions, and explore what I truly enjoy—letting things unfold naturally without chasing a to-do list.

While I love the city I live in (Munich—not too small, not too big, easy to get around, bike-friendly, full of greenery and lakes, with the mountains right at the doorstep, and most importantly: friends and family just a short walk away), I have also cherished the experience of spending extended time abroad. Living in the US and Colombia during my semesters abroad gave me fresh perspectives on myself and my way of life. That is why I am curious to discover new places and see which different sides of myself they bring to the surface.

Overall I prefer a slower pace of travel. Rather than rushing from one destination to another, I like to stay longer in one place to truly connect with it - seeing familiar faces, knowing your way around and noticing small details that make it unique. Becoming involved in the local community is also important to me, as it helps me feel grounded and gives me a meaningful reason to stay. Which is why I love the idea of workaway!

  • More details about your skills

I am a product manager (currently on a career break), which means I’m used to juggling multiple tasks, keeping an overview, and bringing structure into complex situations. I enjoy planning and organizing and would describe myself as detail-oriented and orderly.

Beyond my professional background, I have also helped out on weekends at a cooperative supermarket in a coordinating role, where teamwork, clear communication, and a hands-on mindset were essential.

In my free time, I enjoy DIY projects and interior design. I like working with my hands, being creative, and finding practical solutions that make a space more welcoming and functional. I also love spending time outdoors—whether that’s on a bikepacking trip or simply working in the garden, which I find very grounding and almost meditative.
Altogether, I bring a mix of organizational skills, creativity, and reliability—and I’m always curious to learn new things along the way.

  • What else ...

Curiosity about alternative ways of living and working - especially in community settings where collaboration, sharing, and meaningful connections are central - drives much of my motivation. I am particularly drawn to explore fairer and more sustainable approaches to work and life, ones that go beyond the purely profit-driven models and instead prioritize people, cooperation, and respect for resources.

At the same time, I am interested in more spiritual aspects of life—taking time to reflect, living more consciously, and exploring practices that help create balance and mindfulness in everyday life.

What excites me most is the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from others, and experience different approaches to building community and shaping work and economy in a more just and meaningful way.
