Description

We're motivated to try and make today better than yesterday, by looking on the brighter side of life. We recently got married and are leaning into the honeymoon phase by taking the plunge, quitting our jobs and doing something together that we've always dreamed of: backpacking and volunteering around South and Central America. We want to travel slowly and immerse ourselves in local communities, rather than simply see the tourist sites only.

We've been attempting to learn Spanish over the past few months so are super excited (and nervous!) to immerse ourselves in the language and culture.

It's so hard to sell yourself on here but we are really caring and considerate people who will get stuck in and always pull our weight.

OK so the boring (but hopefully useful!) stuff first; Jess used to be an English Teacher (junior school) in Japan for a few years and now works as a fundraiser for a University. She also worked in project and event management roles in the past too in the charity sector.

Chris on the other hand is an accountant so we have both English and maths well and truly covered!

More fun skills we have are:
- Avid game players (cards, board, sports), you name it!
- Love gardening
- Wedding planning!
- Love cooking
- DIY - we live in quite an old house so have learnt to turn our hand to most things!
