UPDATE: I am taking on tiling jobs now! If you have a tile laying project, or just some old tiles laying around to be used for creative mosaics, let me know and we can figure it out! (I have some tools in my van too).

After 6 years of working as a dentist I am taking some time off to explore what else is out there and give a helping hand - maybe to you! :)

At the moment I am travelling and I’m on my way to Central Asia, so I am taking on short term volunteer positions. Especially in tiling (and then I am staying as long as the project takes to finish), but I am interested in nature conservation, horse care, and dogs too.

I’m travelling with my partner and dog in our yellow van. We either split up for the time of the volunteer project, or he stays around in the van, depends on how we agree with the host. He is not on Workaway because he is writing a book at this time.

My experience:

VOLUNTEER

- Horse riding and horse care: 12 years experience, English style, dressage, developing young horses, I’m a former horse owner, and Idid several Workaways with horses.
- Garden work: weeding, simple planting
- Waitress and simple bar tending: short time student work
- Organizing a mini-festival: creative projects, decoration, land art, coordinating other volunteers
- Children’s summer camp: helping out

PROFESSIONAL

- I led my own company for 4 years (dental office), 5-10 employees, did everything from administration, hiring, to task distribution and happiness management
- Coordinated a major reconstruction of my clinic
- Clinical work and communication with patients

FREE TIME

- I have a lovely daily routine of exercising and meditation
I love hiking and the outdoors, I am an experienced multiple-day hiker and wild camper
- I relax with books and coffee

I blend in with a group well, but need alone time too.
