Hi! I'm Iroha, a 21-year-old passionate explorer from Japan. Currently, I’m taking a year break from the university and solo traveling the Eurasian continent overland since Aug 2023 from east to west.
As a resident of a sea-girt country next to the mammoth continent, I've been dreaming of wandering around the terra firma land ever since I can remember. That's why I decided to travel across the Eurasian continent to sense the scale and variety of the earth, land, and cultures.
My travel is quite slow-going because I usually prefer any options for transfer that allow me to feel the wind, movement of the sun, and texture of the road, and take as much time as possible. Stopping at a roadside shop on the way is one of the best encountering moments.

- Hospitality
As a heavy user of hostels, I love interacting with other travelers. I’m willing to join every team; reception, social media, and events team. With experience working at a wedding banquet, I have an eye for detail and consider myself a fast-learn independent worker.

- Farming and gardening
I have grown up in the countryside. I never hesitate to dirt my hands! I sometimes helped my grandparents with their small farm when I was little. I’m always eager to learn new things.

- Photography & Design
As an amateur photographer (yet seeking to be professional), my skills could help with promotion and advertising. I use Lightroom(adobe), Photoshop, and sometimes Premiere Pro.

- Teaching languages
I used to work as a private tutor for junior high school students, and I can teach English, Japanese, and math. In addition to that, I have several workaway experiences as an English teacher in different countries.

- Coaching sports
I have practiced Judo for eight years and have a black belt! Without a doubt, I'm physically fit:) I have also played football in a local junior team for three years. Though I would not say that I'm professional in football, I can be an assistant coach. My recent hobby is running a marathon. I finished 42.195km in five hours last year(which is not as fast as preferable, though). Looking for a running mate by the way!

- General help
Cooking, cleaning, babysitting, gardening, and playing with animals are what I enjoy doing. I would always love to do housework. That's when I feel I'm using my time for something important in my life.
