We are Iris and Thomas
After we both finished our studies, we left Paris in France for a 6 month travel in South America.
We love to travel and we dreamt of that for a long time before finally jumping into the adventure !

In France, Iris graduated from Cinema, she loves to film and you can often see her with her camera. She made couples of short films and also a documentary about the transmission of a family owned winery castle.
Thomas graduated from Mechanical Engineering, he is passionated by science and in particular space science. You can often see him looking at the stars.

There is of course much more to know about us, how someone could describe himself …
But we want to save some for the day we meet

Like everyone, we had already travelled as tourists in our lives. For this trip we are making, we really wanted something else. We would like to spend time with local and that is why we are on workaway. We both love to meet new people. Learn, talk and the most important, laugh with them.

We love to learn new languages. It's a way to better understand a culture, that is why in our travel we always try to learn a bit of the spoken language. We would be very happy to exchange and teach languages we know to anyone who might want.

Thomas is a basketball coach. He teaches to young kids from 11 to 14 years old. He does it as a volunteer and sees sports as a vector of education, a way to help children grow up
For us education is really important and we like to debate and talk a lot about it.
Actually, we like to talk about any given subject that make us question our believes, or just understand someone else point of view.

We also have some notion of permaculture, in France we tried to have a vegetable garden (but is not very easy in Paris, it's why we try). But we have a big interest to learn more about nature and being independant. Iris know more about grappes, she grown up in a family of winemakers, in the south of France.

Iris travel with her camera, she know how to film, and she loves to find original ways to see things.

In France, we are both in an alternative association who creates scenography with recycling materials for special events. We can help you in conception, creation, decoration or anything else handy.
