  • Description

Hello, I'm an 18 year old person from Germany that looks forward to spending time abroad and being useful after finishing school. I am very interested in horses, since I started riding 2024 and love to spend time with these magnificent beings. I grew up with cats and dogs and love most animals, which is why I'm interested in learning about taking care of them. That is also the main reason I live vegan. I also love science, especially physics and astronomy and plan to study astrophysics. I was always fascinated by Norway's nature and culture, and have visited the country 5 times so far. I also plan on visiting other european countries like Scotland, Iceland and the faroe islands.
I also love art and being creative and especially enjoy taking photos of nature and the night sky. I play the saxophone and try to learn how to play the bagpipe and enjoy to sing, but also love to listen to music. My home is full of plants. I have many cactus and other houseplants but also herbs and flowers. I always wanted to learn how to grow some vegetables.
I love tv shows, especially british ones and Lord of the rings and talking about my passion for stories.
Being outside a lot and working, doing something productive with my hands is something I am looking for. Enjoying nature and conversations with interesting people and learning about new views on life. Something that has always been important to me is saving our environment, which is the reason I was active in an organization that enables youth to participate in local politics for four years.
During one of my visits to Norway I worked in a restaurant/hotel for six weeks during summer and also made some experiences as a tourist guide in Northern Norway. This is also where I worked this summer (2025) for 3.5 months. For half a year I also helped teaching children something about astronomy and physics once a week in an observatory.
I did a workaway for about 3 months in Ireland on a horse farm wuth 15 horses this autumn/winter and did a lot of horse care, working horses and riding.
Right now I am doing a workaway in Norway on another horsefarm with 16 horses.
After that I want to experience something else completly, and explore a few warmer places. I would love to visit New Zealand, Hawaii, the Fidschi islands or Australia.
If I had to describe myself I would say I'm a very passionate person, I am self reliant, but also enjoy the company of other people. I'm very tolerant.

  • More details about your skills

I speak German and English, both fluently (I have a Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English level C2), I learned French in school for 4 years, but I can only remember the basics. As I said before I learn horseback riding since November 2024, so I have experience with horses. Besides riding I also spend a lot of time at the stables, often helping to feed the horses and care for them in general. I have also put some bandages on horses before. Due to that I learn how to behave around horses and gain experience dealing with them. I would love to learn more about horsecare but also about other animals. I have a drivers licence for class B. I am not very experienced with carpentry, but I want to learn and am not discouraged by hard work, I also helped to repair fences a few times. Like I mentioned before I worked at a restaurant and hotel for 6 weeks in 2023, where I worked as a waiter and in kitchen as well as cleaning the rooms, and as a tourist guide, and did this job again this year for 3.5 months. I can cook and bake, but I also look forward to learn new dishes. I often spend my summers abroad camping, so I don't have any conflicts with dirt or bad weather. I have worked as a math tutor for children too. I have many houseplants and herbs and could help in a garden.
I may not be experienced in many fields, but I am trying and motivated to learn new skills. I am very open to all kinds of works.

I love nature and activities outside, like kayaking or standuppaddling, but also hiking trough a beautiful landscape. When I am in a new place, I enjoy to explore nearby places.I also love the sea and my favorite animal are whales. I love collecting interesting items, like the shells of sea urchins and sea glass. I also like to just relax and enjoy my surroundings, stick my feet into a river or the sand on a beach. I also know how to crochet and like to make tiny crafts and projects with clay.
