Description
Hi
My name is Ida Moczydłowska. I'm a 21 year old student living in Cracow, Poland. I love new places and experiences, I love gaining new skills and challenging my limits.
I have tried workaway already and looking forward to having more positive experiences like previously:)
Currently preparing a trip to Israel this summer, 2023. I speak Hebrew on a quite decent level and Israel a very special country for me (it has been a focus of my academic studies and research), I've been there 3 times before and looking forward to discovering new parts of it.
A bit about me:
I am a musician - I play drums. Travelling is my passion, I have visited 20 countries so far and hoping for more. My current work is giving individual English classes for kids mostly. I study Jewish history, languages and culture at the university, but I'm also doing a carpenter's course. I have been an activist for years. I have been an active member of different student organisations, NGOs and activist initiatives.Interests

I speak intermediate Hebrew and fluent (C1+) English and a few other languages on various levels. Apart from doing my BA degree at a university, I've been taking part in a carpenter's course for a few months now (both practise and theory). I have experience in running social media accounts of different organisations and NGOs.
My non-workaway volunteering experience included helping out at local sports events (mostly basic construction, food distribution etc) as well as at a hostel for Ukrainian refugees. I took part in a multicultural summer camp in USA with building and forest conservation projects. I also lead a working group for a year in my student organisation (a local offshoot of AEGEE Europe). Other than being an english tutor, I have worked as a shop assistant previously, where I worked with clients mostly.
I also have some basic experience with gardening and maintainance, for example painting fences, assembling furniture etc.
My previous workaway experiences included hostel stays including management of reception as well as gardening and carpentry work. However there were always some unusual experiences - preparing concrete, serving drinks at a jazz concert, guiding international hiking trips to the mountains, giving a concert in a costal bar, refurnishing hostel interiors.
I learn quickly and I can pick up new abilities easily. I don't mind physical work. I'm hard-working and determined, so you can count on me : )Age
