Description
I'm a curious person always looking to learn new things. I have a passion for many things such as self-sufficiency, herbal medicine, crafts, sewing, permaculture, agroforestry, cooking, history, politics, ecology, philosophy, religion, martial arts, meditation, yoga, hiking, dancing, sailing and would love to learn more about this aswell as other things. I'm a creative person and love all art but I mostly express myself by music.
I live onboard my 32 foot sailboat on Gotland in the Baltic Sea and am therefore used to a spartan way of living with a lot of maintenance work, cold winters and lack of running water. On the other hand I get to experience living with the weather and get a wonderful view!
My curiosity also applies to people, and I love meeting new people and getting new perspectives of how one can view life.
So far I find meaning in my life by trying to keep a healthy relationship to myself and my surrounding environment, may it be a community, friends or nature.Interests

I have experience being part of a community garden in Visby where we on 1ha have are growing everything from veggies, to potatoes, legumes, berries, trees, flowers and herbs from small-scale permaculture principles. I'm also in the board for the community responsible for accounting.
I have spent 7 months as a trainee on a tall ship sailing through the westcoast of Europe, over the Atlantic and on the Caribbean at different times. Then I got experience from traditional sailing, working in the masts and on deck, steering, keeping lookout, maintenance work with both metal and wood, as well as cooking for 55 people, cleaning and making rounds in the engine room.
I'm also living on a 32 foot sailboat, and have regular maintenance work. Last year I installed a small wood burner to keep me warm in the winter.
I have experience with dogs, cats and horses and spent a lot of time in my younger teenage years helping out at the nearby stable, taking care of and riding one of the horses.
I love cooking and have experimented with making my own recipes, baking bread, making oat milk, yogurt and butter, conserving vegetables.
I have a bachelors degree in urban and rural planning, and have worked a lot with sustainability in academia together with innovative methods and workshops that I am happy to share!Age
