Description
Hello everybody,
We are Ida (20) and Frederieke (24), two childhood friends from the north of Germany. We grew up just a few houses away from each other in a small town, went to school together in the mornings and love doing things together - whether travelling, cooking, cycling to the beach, sailing or just being there for each other.
Ida graduated from high school about a year ago and was working as a waitress in our hometown for the last three years while she thinks about what she wants to study. Frederieke is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Geography and works part-time. We are both very open-minded and curious personalities. It's also important to us to gain new experiences and learn new things.
We both grew up with cats in the house and have always had a good connection with animals. We have also worked on farms for a long time, where we gained some experience in dealing with different animals and gardening.
Additionally we went to a Waldorf school for 13 years. In addition to the normal subjects, Waldorf schools also offer lessons such as gardening or handicrafts and needlework. In addition, there are internships every few years in areas such as agriculture or social studies (working with disabled people, children or older people), so we got to know a wide variety of work at an early age and were able to gain experience accordingly. Now we would like to travel to Central America together this winter, explore the area, meet new friends and cultures, step out of our comfort zones and improve our language skills in Spanish and English.
