Hi There!
We are two girls from Denmark with Spanish roots, and we have a big wish to reconnect with our cultural heritage and practice the Spanish language. We both speak and understand spanish, but could definitely use some practice
We met in 2018 during our sabbatical years at a free academy where we lived for 6 months - here we got to take part in a creative community and indulge in our interest for photography and fine arts.
About us:
My name is Iben and I’m 24 years old. I live in a dormitory and share a kitchen with 12 lovely people, with whom I like to watch movies and cook dinner with. In my free time I frequently go on walks in the forest and for a swim in the lake I live nearby - and I also like to dance salsa. Currently, I’m studying to become a landscape engineer. From my studies, my dream is to get my own garden with blooming flowers and delicious vegetables - and maybe structure it around the principles of perma-culture - has sprung.
I have been a workaway’er before (in Columbia and in Denmark) where I’ve mainly been doing gardening and maintenance work.
Hi, my name is Helena I'm 24 and currently studying Communication Design. I work in a culture house for children; where I’m in charge of our creative spaces and workshops. In my free time I love to cook, do yoga, hiking, doing creative projects and be around people. I have a big passion for fine arts, culture and community. Nature, adventures and outdoor life makes me the happiest. Most valuable is when I get to share those special places and memories with others.
I have not yet tried workaway, but I've done a lot of other voluntary work. I’ve been wanting to try workaway for some time now, and your place seems like the most perfect place to start.
