More details about your skills
I'm an experienced workawayer so I know how to jump in and help out with almost any kind of task. I'm mostly into farm life but I'm open-minded so I love learning new things!
In my everyday life I work as a tour coordinator for expedition cruises in Greenland & Iceland. Remote or in person, busy schedules, computer work or guiding tours. Besides that, I live on a big horsefarm in countryside Iceland, where we have +- 40 sheep, 100 horses, a dog, a cat, chickens and rabbits, so I'm used to lots of animals to take care of in any weather. I have 20 years of horse experience but learning never ends of course. I am calm, positive, consistent, and know how to take guests on trail rides in several languages. I've been teaching the new summer team the routes, horsemanship and guiding safety for the last 5 years.
Furthermore, I know how to take care of social media (I have a drone), work with customers etc as I have done all of these for previous jobs mostly in the tourism&hospitality industry. I am also into sustainability stuff due to my studies; I would love to learn more about (organic) farming and off-grid living/self-sufficiency. Physical work in the outdoors is no problem. I love being on the water but don't often have the opportunity to go sailing/boating, so if you have a boat, please let me know!
I've done my fair share of babysitting, cleaning and cooking as well as tutoring so I can help out in the (guest)house if needed. Happy to do and learn anything that's needed as long as there is a positive environment. If you have any questions about my experiences or background, please don't hesitate to ask. :)
NB: I have a driving license for cars & trailers/caravans etc and a powerboat license (RYA 2).
Also am a Wilderness First Responder and experienced camper/outdoor enthusiast.
I don't smoke, no allergies and no special diet.
