Hi we're Darragh and Kim,

Where to begin? Workaway has given us some of the most amazing memories and we've met life long friends, all while gaining new skills along the way. From Canada, back home to Ireland, travelling around Europe our next adventure awaits!

We are currently travelling around SE Asia. We spent a month in the Philippines, and our next destination is Vietnam. We have a 3 month visa and would love to submerge ourselves in Vietnamese culture.

We're both easy-going but hard-working people, ready to meet new friends, learn new skills, roll up our sleeves and get stuck in but have some fun along the way.

We are particularly interested in learning anything to do with being self sufficient and less dependent on society. From building structures using traditional and non traditional materials e.g Adobe, Earthbags etc. To growing our own food and interacting with nature in a more harmonious ways (areas which we have a lot of room from improvement in).

For myself I love getting my hands dirty in any type of grunt work you might throw at me whether it's cooking cleaning landscaping, painting or basic handy work, Kim can do all of the above better than any guy I know she's also a great cook (I can cook too just not nearly as well) I’m a dedicated, hard worker no matter what I put my mind to, no job is too big or small. On top of that we are open to learning any new skills you might be able to teach us.

What else ...

My other hobbies include Photography, Sailing and Rowing, Woodburning and attempting to play guitar. For Kim she loves playing Gaelic football and Hurling (an Irish sport we would love to show you how to play) I also enjoy meditating and being close to nature. I really love a good boogie and dance every now and then too! Big big big animal lover, missing my doggo Castro back in Ireland.

Volunteering is a big part of our lives - Kim has been involved in Water and Public Health brigades in Ghana and also many charities back home in Dublin and I volunteer as a big brother working with First Nation youths. We both love dog walking, music and reading.
