  • Description

In my life, there have been moments where I truly feel alive, where I am really living, juicing the fruit of life for every last drop. There have also been times where I have felt like I was wasting my life away, where I can see the fruits on the tree in the distance, but they all drop to the ground and wither away as I watch from the confined walls of a traditional corporate job.

Mornings in nature, meaningful conversations, sweet treats, The Beatles, adventure, cold beer, oddities, spontaneous friends, weird characters, new experiences, the unpredictability and randomness of life, having no regrets - these are some things that motivate me and bring me happiness. I am alive; I can see, hear, taste, smell, and feel, and I want to stimulate all of these senses to the absolute best of my abilities with the time I have. That, I think, is what living really is.

  • More details about your skills

I have nearly three years of general maintenance experience so I am pretty handy and resourceful. I have worked maintenance at a large university greenhouse where we addressed many problems regarding airflow and irrigation systems, grow lights, evaporative cooling systems, and general structural maintenance.

My other maintenance experience was at a mountain lodge/resort where I handled just about everything under the sun - plumbing, electrical, painting, caulking, rodents. Customer service was also a large part of this job as I had to work directly with the guests to solve whatever problem they needed.

My other endeavors in my work life include clearing hiking trails in the Rocky Mountains, working at a bagel shop, and most recently, testing soil and groundwater as an environmental technician.
