Wir haben in den letzten Jahren sehr viel gearbeitet: wir leiteten ein Kinderheim für jugendliche Benachteiligte, hatten stets Spaß an vielen, vielen Nebenjobs (z.B. in der Sportfahrschule bei Porsche, im Theater, beim Weihnachtsmarkt Verkauf, in Fabriken usw..) um für Abwechslung in unserem Leben zu sorgen. Unsere Kinder sind nun groß und stehen auf eigenen Beinen, sodass wir die Emptynest-Phase für uns und die Überlegung wie es für uns im Leben noch weitergehen soll, nutzen wollen. Wir sind kommunikativ, umsichtig und interessiert an anderen Lebensweisen. Anne kann (auch für größere Gruppen) kochen, Kathrin kann malern und tapezieren und hat schon an so einigen Bauprojekten mit zugefasst. Wir mögen es wenn es sauber ist (und tun auch gern was dafür ;)), gärtnern gern und sind uns für keine Hofarbeit zu schade! Natürlich sind wir alt genug mitzudenken und anfallende Aufgaben selbständig zu erkennen und zu erledigen. Wir lieben Kinder und die meisten Tiere :D

We have worked a lot in recent years: we ran a children's home for disadvantaged young people, always enjoyed many, many part-time jobs (e.g. in the sports driving school at Porsche, in the theater, selling at the Christmas market, in factories, etc.) to ensure variety in our lives. Our children are now grown up and can stand on their own two feet, so we want to use the empty nest phase for ourselves and to think about what we want to do next in life. We are communicative, thoughtful and interested in other ways of life. Anne can cook (even for larger groups), Kathrin can paint and wallpaper and has already helped out on a number of building projects. We like it when things are clean (and are happy to do something for it ;)), we like gardening and are not above doing any yard work! Of course, we are old enough to think for ourselves and to recognize and complete tasks independently. We love children and most animals :D

Wir möchten unsere Reise auch gern nutzen um unsere Englisch- und auch Spanisch- Sprachkenntnisse stetig zu verbessern, wobei wir im spanischen noch ziemlich am Anfang stehen. We would also like to use our trip to continually improve our English and Spanish language skills, although we are still at the very beginning of our Spanish career.
