Hi! I'm Henry and I am eager to improve my Spanish! My main interests are cycling and tech, I work in Tech Support and I'm a qualified and experienced youth Cycling Coach having spent last summer working at a youth Camp in Canada.
I've also worked as a bike mechanic and could definitely help out in this area if needed. I like to meet new people and am interested in experiencing different cultures. I am upbeat and easy going.

I spent summer 2022 at a youth camp in Canada as a Mountain Bike instructor and I am British Cycling Coach Level 1 qualified with several years experience in coaching. (With this qualification I have also had First Aid training). I also led groups in archery and rock climbing and sometimes craft, games and even singing if required! I loved the experience of being in Canada and being in nature.

Summer 2023 I spent volunteering at an Estate a hour outside Lisbon. This mainly involved morning garden maintenance and helping to clean/wash up in the evenings after the youth camp with other workawayers.

I currently work in a school offering IT assistance to teachers and administrative staff whilst helping to maintain the servers and networks. Trouble shooting technical problems is daily for me. I work in term time and so have August off which allows me to travel. I have an interest in everything computing and am teaching myself to code. I'd be happy to help out in this area.

I have bar work experience and have worked as a Plumber's Mate on and off for many years as my family own a Gas Heating company. As well as being a cycle coach I have also worked as a bike mechanic at a busy bike centre and can service/build bikes. I've also collaborated on refurbishing an old car and have car maintenance skills.
