Hello :)
we are henny and Liam, currently travelling Vietnam. We are both interested in volunteering as it gets us closer to a local way of life in the countries we're visiting. This can be more social aspects like hostel or hospitality work, but especially working outside, e.g. gardening, farming and renovating!

Hi my name's henny. My curiosity and eagerness to learn new things, learn about life in other places, cultures and people are what motivates me to travel. As a journalist I am always searching for exciting new experiences. In the past, this could be working on a permaculture farm in northern Thailand, driving my scooter around Taiwan or working in Australia. I love trying new food, spending time outside and learning new skills. But my passion continues to be writing !

Hey, I'm liam, 27 and from Australia. I grew up living around the world. with my family I lived in China, Greece, Indonesia and the UEA. Travelling has always been a part of my life. I like working outdoors and with my hands, for example working on a sheep farm or doing gardening. I have an artistic side as well and I do love cooking and baking. Hopefully I can get back into doing that soon.

henny: What I do best is writing. I write a blog, worked as a journalist in Germany and studied philosophy for four years. Photography and video making I enjoy as well.
I have some farm work experience, so I know how to do rice cultivation and repairing a roof made out of palm leaves. I know how to cook and do housekeeping. I have some skills in social media editing and setting up a website, too. I know my way around plants and animals. Overall, I'm curious to acquiring new skills and motivated - not scared - to try new things.
Liam: I have worked many jobs in my life - from gardening and farming to animal care to kitchen hand to now owning a tire company back home in Australia. I have volunteered at hostels before and got a lot of knowledge for carpentry, car mechanics and just working outside with my hands in general.
