Description
I’m a certified dog trainer currently working at my own doggy daycare and an animal shelter called Dyreværnet, located in Rødovre.
Animals have always been at the heart of my life, and my deep love for them has driven me to dedicate both my career and personal time to their well-being. Since my teenage years, I’ve actively advocated for both animal and human rights, with a strong focus on giving animals a voice—especially because they can’t speak for themselves. I am a vegan, which aligns deeply with my values of compassion and respect for all living beings.
Empathy is a core part of who I am. I genuinely enjoy connecting with new people and make it a priority to approach others with openness and inclusion. My experiences traveling have broadened my perspective, but my greatest motivation for joining Workaway is to support animal shelters and wildlife sanctuaries around the world. I want to make a real, hands-on difference while continuing to learn and grow through these experiences.
I also care deeply about ocean conservation and protecting marine life. I’m passionate about helping clean up the oceans and contributing to projects that support the health of our planet’s waters and the creatures that call them home.
In the future, I hope to deepen my knowledge by becoming a certified animal behaviorist. Until then, I remain committed to helping animals in any way I can—and to being a kind and conscious presence wherever I go.

More details about your skills
I am a certified dog trainer with over four years of professional experience in training, walking, and caring for dogs. I currently have my own doggy daycare and work at an animal shelter, where I look after a wide range of animals—including dogs, cats, and small animals like rodents. This has given me strong, hands-on experience with different species and a solid understanding of their individual needs and behavior.
In addition to my professional work, I’ve grown up with both dogs and horses and have always taken great responsibility in caring for them. These lifelong experiences have strengthened my ability to read animal body language, respond to their needs with patience and empathy, and ensure their well-being in everyday routines as well as in more challenging situations.
Besides animal care, I’m also practically skilled and enjoy hands-on work. I have some experience building furniture and small installations, and I’m comfortable taking on physical tasks that require creativity, precision, and problem-solving.
I’m a reliable, compassionate, and proactive person who thrives in environments where I can care for animals and contribute positively to a team. My focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and enriching space—for animals and humans alike.
