Description
I have been travelling all my life.
It is in my blood to explore, to experience other cultures, to continuously meet new people. I was lucky that almost all of my working life consisted of travelling. It started when I was an Au-pair in the U.S. After that I lived in England for about three years.
I went to Canterbury College and have a degree in Proficiency English. When I was staying in England I was also working at a Youth Hostel, YHA England and Wales in Canterbury. I have teaching experience for German as a foreign language to British Students, as well as English Teacher for German school children. I continued to work for cruise companies as a receptionist, and was so lucky that I even had the chance to work on an expedition ship and see Arctica and Antarctica. The last years I worked as a Stewardess (Flight attendant) for Lufthansa German Airline.
Where ever I might end up as a workawayer, I am looking forward to it. I would love to share the stories from my travels so far, from Germany, my experiences and my empathetic nature.
I think I will never really settle down, because nothing beats the excitement of going places and learning about other cultures. I guess I was born with "Fernweh"... a German word, and a feeling, sometimes also called "Wanderlust" .
It means a deep longing to travel to unknown places, and it has not subsided yet.. :)Interests
