I’m Hayley, a 23-year-old from Australia on a working holiday in Japan for the next year and a half. I have an international driver’s license and a wide range of work experience, both paid and volunteer.

I’ve done a lot of housekeeping across Japan, including at Snowball Japan Properties (a luxury ski lodge), several apartments and a teahouse, Tagore Harbor Hostel on the Izu Peninsula, and Mominoki Lodge for private groups in Gunma. While working at Mominoki Lodge, I also helped with babysitting and DIY projects. I’ve also volunteered at an English café in Tokyo.

Outside of that, I’ve worked as a dog groomer at Sugarland Animal Hospital, a beauty therapist at Seashore Nails & Beauty, a receptionist at Vanish Skin and Laser Clinic, a kitchen hand, a waitress, and a seasonal fruit picker. I’ve also volunteered in theatre, helping with children’s drama classes, set construction, and backstage support.

I’m a hands-on worker who takes pride in doing a job well. I enjoy staying active, helping wherever I’m needed, and being part of a team that works together. I’m reliable, organised, and quick to adapt to new environments. I’m currently based in Japan and excited to contribute wherever I go.

Hobbies & Passions:
I’m an active person who enjoys staying fit through things like hiking, surfing, and exploring nature. I grew up going on road trips and camping all over Australia with my family, which gave me a strong love for the outdoors and a flexible, adventurous mindset.

I’ve also been involved in theatre from a young age and have a passion for performance, art, and creative expression. I enjoy working with makeup, costume, and character work, and love being part of creative projects.

Whether I’m helping with something practical or artistic, I’m happiest when I’m active, learning, and contributing.
