More details about your skills
I`m a good listener. I can follow directions. I am patient. I can work with my hands and with my brain. I´m and early morning person. I can measure twice and cut once. I can edit, explain and clarify. I like to read, and people tell me I can sing.
I have lived in Hamburg for over 22 years. I have worked with children and adults and many nationalities.
When I lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan I travelled to Japan with 12 high school students for 10 days. I shared my home with 4 Japanese teachers when they visited Ann Arbor.
In 1998 I won a trip to Paris. My fifth grade class created a project about Alexis de Tocqueville`s trip to America for CSpan.Org.
I worked with students and parents to create plays about a Japanese story called Momotaro, the Peach Boy. With another class we created a musical about the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum. With a third class we created a play about a Chinese story called The Monkey King. Each of these projects involved working with parents and students to build sets, created costumes, find music, and create movement that fit with the story.
I taught English in Beijing to high school students through Fullbright. I had 15 classes, each with 50 students. I also worked with Oakland Community College and their China program. We taught English to Chinese English teachers in south China.
I continue to work with children and adults in Hamburg. I am fit. I don`t smoke. I don`t drink, and I don`t do drugs.Age
