Description
We are a young couple (Marie & Jakub), who recently graduated from Media school in Prague. And now we decided we want to take a gap year and see the outside world with our own eyes.
Our motivation is to travel to new destinations, meet new people, work with our hands and clear our minds. Simply we want to take a break from our everyday lives.
We feel that we are an adventurous couple, who like to spend time in beatiful nature, do interesting sports and stay active.
We also enjoy photography and videography, which is what we graduated in.
We cannot wait what Workaway will bring into our lives and we hope that we will gather many unforgettable memories from this platform.

I (Jakub), have experience with service as i worked 3 years in a cinema (bartender, cashier, usher), I also worked in a cafe and did few videos for social media. I studied Multimedia in highschool, which left me with an interest in Graphics, Photography and Art. I am excited to learn new things that will enrich my skills that will make me even more practical.
I (Marie) am very friendly person, I have been working with people since 15 years old, I started at customer service, fruit and vegetable picking and then my career moved to gastronomy. I worked many years as a waiter, bartender and dishwasher. I also worked in a bio shop where I became more familiar with topics such as ecology and sustainbility. For a few years I also worked with children in school clubs and summer camps.
I have many travel experience but two of them are already work related.
As part of Erasmus, I worked in a hotel in Ireland and in a kindergarten in England.
