Hi there!
My name is Hannes, born and raised in Germany, and I am looking for a meaningful workaway experience for the summer months. I have a deep love for the outdoors, nature, and gardening. With two cats at home and a dog in the family, I love spending time with animals. I try to live a healthy and peaceful live and take each day as it comes. I am always eager and curious to try new things.
Currently I'm enrolled in a master's degree in computer science and before I begin my thesis in October, I need some time to recharge and refuel my energy and use the time I have - before starting to work full time - to connect with new people and learn about Scandinavian culture. I have always been someone who enjoys hands-on task such as fixing, building and painting things and also gardening. Also I can help with house chores and cooking. As a cat parent, I understand the importance of being responsible and reliable in attending to the needs of both humans and animals. I'm always eager to learn something new and not afraid of hard work.
Being a computer science student, I can also assist with everything tech related and setting up a simple website.

I enjoy being outdoors - doesn't matter if it's cycling, hiking, running or camping. I'd love to get more into kayaking and fishing. Living in Berlin, I can also appreciate cultural activities like museums, art shows or learning about the history. I have a passion for watching movies, enjoying coffee with pastries, and reading, particularly Scandinavian thrillers.
