Description

Hello! My name is Hannes and I’m currently traveling through Japan. I’m a friendly, motivated person who loves meeting new people, learning about local culture, and helping wherever I can.

I’ll be traveling and mostly hiking through Japan, so I don’t have a fixed place to stay. I’m looking for a work exchange during November and December, and I’m happy to adjust my travel plans if I find a good opportunity.

I’m especially interested in cultural exchanges, guesthouses, farms, or community projects. I’m reliable, easygoing, and always eager to learn new skills. I look forward to contributing and making new friends!

Back home I work as an electrician and I’m good at fixing and maintaining things. I also have experience working on farms, and I’ve worked in the hospitality industry as a waiter and bartender, so I’m used to both physical work and working with people.

In my free time I really enjoy photography, filming and video editing, and I also have some experience flying drones. I like to capture beautiful landscapes and moments during my travels.

I also enjoy fishing from time to time, and I recently started learning how to draw — it’s something I’m excited to improve at.

When it comes to games, I’m a big fan of chess, Risk, and all kinds of card games. I love a good game night and enjoy playing with new people.
