Hello!

I’m Hannele, from the coast of Southern Finland. I’m currently in a position where I can take some breaks from working, and I’d like to use the opportunity to do some workaways, to meet and connect with new people, places and ideas. :)

At home in Finland, I currently have an office job, doing a variety of things (finance, marketing, writing, IT…). I love to travel, and I’ve done working holidays, student exchange etc., working in fantastic locations together with great people in hostels, farms and cafés. During my workaways I'd like to get back to doing manual work, to learn new things and spend time outdoors.
Important things in my everyday life are music, going for walks and runs, family & friends and spending some time outdoors at my family’s summer cabin by the sea.

I’m easy to get along with and interested in doing many kinds of tasks. I’m really looking forward to settling to new places, learning new things and connecting with fellow humans and animals. :)

Some facts about me that might be of interest:
- I’m 38 years old
- My English is fluent. I also know Swedish and a bit of German. Finnish is my native language.
- I like running and taking long walks, also yoga. Music is also an important part of my life.
- I have studied sociology, finance, environmental sciences and art history
- During my workaway stays, I might do some creative workshops or digital nomad work on my laptop, but only an hour or two here and there, and with a flexible schedule. My aim with workaways is to be present in new places and work with hands on tasks. :)
- I don’t have children, but I have spent a lot of time with my lovely niece who is now 7, and children of my friends and relatives, so I have experience in being around / looking after kids in general.
- I’d love to spend time in places with animals.
