Activities i am interested in:
I’m currently located in Belfast finishing my studies in Zoology- but am interested in travelling but particularly hostel work as I love meeting new people or working with animals!

Description
Growing up in the rural fields of Fermanagh (Ireland) I am someone who has always had a passion for the outdoors, nature and working with people. I enjoy nothing better than rural life, but am eager to explore different cultures and see different ways of life. Currently a Zoology Undergraduate in my second year at University I have a real interest in Wildlife and Conservation so working with NGOs is something I am looking for. Growing up beside my uncles farm and recently getting the opportunity to volunteer at my local Wildlife rescue has given me great experience with working with animals and working with Wildlife and rescue animals in other countries is definitely on my list. However, I also have a growing passion for working with young people as an active member of a homework club in Belfast during term time:)

More details about your skills
Farm work/Animal care-
Living in a rural area and growing up beside a small farm has meant I have naturally picked up skills here and there from Jam making and Haymaking in the summer months to clearing leaves and tending to maintenance work during the Winter. Of course there is still so much I feel I could learn as much of the work I would have carried out was still under the supervision of older farmers and I would love to gain a deeper understanding of working the land.
Recently I have begun a volunteering placement at my local wildlife centre a role which I thoroughly enjoy and is adding to what animal handling experience I already had from being around cattle and sheep at home.
Hospitality-
Having worked part time as a waitress/barista at a Hotel in my nearest town I have good experience serving customers and working in the kitchens fast paced environment. Hospitality forces you to learn to multitask, so I am used to switching between a responsibilities- from managing food orders, to making coffees and taking payments behind the bar.
