Description
Kia ora! We’re Hanna and Tilde. Two positive and curious girls from Sweden who are about to start our big adventure in New Zealand.
We’ve both always dreamed of exploring more of the world and meeting people from different cultures. For us, happiness comes from shared experiences, learning new things, spending time in nature, being active and connecting with others.
Through Workaway, we hope to experience local life, contribute wherever we can, and make our travels more meaningful. Being able to work and volunteer in exchange for food and accommodation will help us stay on the road longer, something we’re really excited about!
We’re young, motivated and open-hearted, ready to learn, laugh and live life to the fullest. We can’t wait to meet new people, share stories and be part of something bigger during our time in Aotearoa.
A bit about us:
Tilde is a true animal lover, food enthusiast and fitness addict in the best way possible. She’s happiest when she’s cooking something delicious, exploring new places or staying active. Tilde brings a lot of energy and laughter wherever she goes, and she’s always up for a challenge or a new experience.
Hanna is a creative and caring person who finds joy in the little things. She loves baking, painting, and spending time with friends and family. She’s also active and enjoys keeping fit through sports and outdoor adventures. People often describe her as positive, thoughtful and easy to be around.
Together, we balance each other perfectly and share a love for nature, adventure and meeting people from all over the world. Looking forward to meeting you!

We’re both practical, adaptable and enjoy learning new things.
Tilde has a strong background working with animals and grew up surrounded by them. She’s had cats, dogs and rabbits, and also spent around ten years riding horses. She has experience as both a football coach and referee, and has worked in restaurants and grocery stores, where she developed great teamwork and communication skills.
Hanna has a broad background in service and care. She has worked in restaurants, elderly care, as well as with children in school and preschool. She has also been part of a more technical and international environment at Volvo, where she used English daily.
We both hold high school diplomas with strong grades and driver’s licences. We’re reliable, social and hands-on, and we take pride in doing our work thoroughly and with a positive attitude. Whether it’s helping with animals, supporting around the house or assisting outdoors, we’re always motivated to contribute and learn along the way.

Hi! We have a lot of hobbies so if your tired don't keep reading. We love board games, beachvolleyball, football, music, crocheting / knitting, drawing, food, and sports in general.
Tilde also likes fishing, playing golf and piano, driving, and snorkeling. And Hanna likes to sing and read.
