Description
I draw most of my happiness from meeting new people and sharing experiences. The reason for joining work away is to engage with other travelers and share the excitement of living in a new area of the world. I want to learn form my peers and hosts both culturally and an assortment of skills.
I want to make world wide friends and have the opportunity to travel around the host city in my off time. I certainly love a good adventure, so taking trips solo or with the workaway crew would be very high on my to-do list.

I was a landscaper, gardener, and construction worker for a number of years in High school and College, doing a lot of land cleaning and care. I have been involved in athletics and labor intensive jobs on and off for the majority of my life.
Within the past two years I have worked in a warehouse as a order fulfillment and product sourcing manager. I took care of the brands supply chain needs and Customer Experience upgrades. I currently am both a server and bartender and will be until I leave for Workaway.
In regards to some of my hobbies, I have experience with rock climbing (single and multi pitch), longterm thru hiking, trail running, and skiing/snowboarding. I love to be outside when I can be, this doesn't mean I don't also enjoy to relax and enjoy downtime.

*Currently looking for my last leg of this 4 month trip. I would love to spend a month in the same location, but any amount of time is a greatly appreciated*
I am very interested in learning more about trade skills such as farming, carpentry, sustainable gardening. I am passionate about taking this time to have fun while learning as much as I can from anyone I meet. As some examples; If there are apprenticeship opportunity under a Carpenter, chances to be involved in creating community events, building sustainable environments, or learning from teaching others!
On a lighter not, I alway have a deck of cards with me. Not afraid to any challengers to play Gin or Cribbage.

Gus came to stay here for 12 days and it was a delight to have him. While here he cleared loads in the garden and helped me set up my Etsy store. He was great company, cheerful and enthusiastic and I fully recommend him.
