Hi! I'm Jesús, but my friends call me Gsus. I'm a friendly and energetic person who also enjoys moments of calm and reflection. I’m always eager to learn, explore new experiences, and connect with people.

I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by nature, which gave me a deep appreciation for the land and agricultural work. Since childhood, I’ve loved rural life in Northern Patagonia, Chile, working with crops and dairy farming. This upbringing taught me the value of hard work, patience, and respect for the environment. I’m also passionate about sports, especially rugby, which I’ve played since I was young—it has shaped my discipline and teamwork skills.

I’m currently in Florida, USA, taking part in a trainee program in food quality control, specifically focusing on imported fruit. As an agricultural engineer, I have experience in both crop production and dairy farming. I’m fluent in English and have an intermediate level of French, which helps me communicate in diverse international settings. My goal is to keep traveling, learning about different agricultural systems, and applying my knowledge wherever I go. I'm excited to contribute my skills and grow with every new adventure!

¡Hola! Soy Jesús, pero mis amigos me llaman Gsus. Soy una persona amigable y enérgica, aunque también disfruto de momentos de calma y reflexión. Siempre estoy abierto a aprender, vivir nuevas experiencias y conectar con otras personas.

Crecí en el campo, rodeado de naturaleza, lo que me dio un profundo respeto por la tierra y el trabajo agrícola. Desde niño, he disfrutado de la vida rural en la región de la Patagonia Norte en Chile, trabajando con cultivos y en la producción lechera. Esta experiencia me enseñó el valor del esfuerzo, la paciencia y el respeto por el medio ambiente. También me apasionan los deportes, especialmente el rugby, que practico desde pequeño y ha sido clave en mi desarrollo en disciplina y trabajo en equipo.

Actualmente, me encuentro en Florida, EE.UU., realizando un programa de trainee en control de calidad de frutas importadas. Soy ingeniero agrónomo con experiencia tanto en producción de cultivos como en ganadería lechera. Hablo inglés con fluidez y tengo un nivel intermedio de francés, lo que me permite comunicarme en distintos entornos internacionales. Mi objetivo es seguir viajando, aprendiendo sobre diferentes sistemas agrícolas y aplicando mis conocimientos donde sea necesario. ¡Estoy listo para aportar mis habilidades y seguir creciendo en cada nueva aventura!

I’d love to improve my French skills. I attended primary school at an Alliance Française, so I understand the language well, but I’ve lost some fluency over the years. I’d really like the chance to practice and regain confidence. I can also teach Spanish.

I grew up in a place where wheat and oats were cultivated alongside dairy farming, which shaped my deep connection to agriculture. When I started university, I focused on hop cultivation and sustainable farming, gaining hands-on experience in soil microbiology and organic management. I have a strong background in regenerative agriculture and the production of bio-inputs using Korean Natural Farming (KNF) methods to improve soil health and crop resilience.

I also have experience in brewing, assisting in beer production, and experimenting with hop-infused products. Passionate about working in nature, I enjoy learning from different agricultural systems and applying organic and sustainable practices. Always eager to contribute and grow, I look forward to sharing my skills and gaining new experiences in diverse environments.
