I am a father of 2 wonderful boys who will turn 5 and 3 next year. My wife and I are both teachers in Singapore and we feel the best education we can give our sons are cultural exchanges overseas and allowing them interact with locals wherever we go. Hence we are taking a 1.5 years sabbatical from our jobs in 2024 to travel the world and enjoy our time as a family with fellow locals, giving our boys an education schools cannot replicate.

Both my wife and I are qualified school teachers in Singapore. We teach children from the ages of 7 to 17 and our subjects include English, Mathematics and Physical Education. We are proficient in both English and Mandarin. We love sports and the outdoors and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Exercise Science. My wife is an avid crocheter too. We are currently looking after our 2 wonderful boys so we have experience providing childcare. Looking after our own home in Singapore means we are also capable of doing various odd jobs and household chores. Most importantly, whatever skills we are lacking in, we make up for it with a willingness to learn and healthy dose of enthusiasm.

What else ...

My wife and I hope that hosts who we work with love children as well and are willing to accept our 2 young boys. As far as possible, we will definitely want them to be involved in the work we do and to interact with the host and locals. They are children, they will make mistakes and we will do our jobs as parents to love and correct them.
