Hello wonderful people of Workaway! I'm 30yo Italian, and I want to take my chance to see the world! I found that when I'm travelling I'm much happier than when I'm at home. Travelling really does something to your head, in a totally positive way.
I've had my first workaway experience in summer 2016, and many trips since then. Now I'm looking for the next big adventure.
I'm a freelance writer and translator, and I live the digital nomad lifestyle for most of the year.
My favourite places to hang out are Greece and Spain (especially Canary Islands)

I speak fluent English and Italian, and I have experience teaching and translating these languages (I work as an Italian/English translator). I'm also learning Greek (B2 level for now).
I'm social, not afraid to talk to people and have fun. I've worked physically demanding jobs before, so it's not a problem to get my hands dirty.
My biggest passion is taking care of animals, I volunteer regularly at dog shelters at home and my first workaway experience was taking care of horses on the wonderful greek island of Skyros.
I've also workawayed many times in hostels and hotels and I really enjoyed it. I leart how to manage check-ins and check-outs and how to take care of the place and make sure the guests always feel welcome.
But most importantly, I'm a fast learner! I'm interested in literally every subject, I love talking and exchanging ideas (I graduated in philosophy, so maybe I like talking and exchanging ideas a bit too much), and for me the most important thing while travelling is meeting new people and getting to know the culture that hosts me, so I'm always open to new experiences!
I'm a freelancer and a digital nomad, so I'm looking for places with a good internet connection and enough free time to do my work as well as contributing to the local project.Age

I've spent three wonderful weeks in this little corner of paradise last July, and I had an amazing time. Sandy is a lovely host, super kind and accomodating with workawayer needs. Her place in Arni is just wonderful. I miss all the dogs (especially my babies Jasper and Spot, they'll be all grown up… read more
