My day to day name is Mieke and I've now upgraded my account to include my friend Janet. We do Workaways together as well as apart .

My day to day name is Mieke and I am now 59 years old and very healthy, fit and active. I was a volunteer in Paris, France when I was 19 years old and loved it. I would like to go back to France to improve my French again and to be a volunteer again as I am now at a time in my life that I am free to do so ( My son is 27 and independent now). Please feel free to ask me anything. I am a sociable and a hardworking individual. I live in the UK and have done so for 41 year but have the Dutch nationality. I am interested in spirituality, religion and the exploration of our souls. I also love nature, sun, science etc. Please ask if you like to know more about me . Kind regards, Mieke

My friend is called Janet and she's 56 years old and also healthy, fit and active. She's also spiritual, does not speak any French but we like to go again to France on another Workaway experience. We have similar interests and have been friends for over 25+ years. We often go away together for weekends and working together again is similarly enjoyable. She's a moderate smoker, would always smoke outside and is very considerate of non - smokers. We go on long country walks together and both enjoy playing Padel Tennis.

Gardening, cleaning, decorating, previous voluntary work in a convent South of Paris, France (5 months), animal friendly, not too good with young children but much better and comfortable with young adults, not a great cook but willing to do some. Happy to clean and sort, housekeeping, etc.

I play Padel tennis and like going for long country walks. I like a peaceful environment and being outside. I am interested in most things and really enjoy meeting different cultures and life styles. Love a good conversation and exchanging ideas.
